J. C. WILLIAMSON COMPANIES
New Appointments Made Sir Frank Tait, chairman of J. C. Williamson, Ltd., and J. C. Williamson Theatres, Ltd., has announced several executive and board changes. Mr Claude Kingston, who has been associated with J. C. Williamson, Ltd., since 1021, and the theatre company since its inception, joins the board of J C. Williamson, Ltd., end will also continue as ■ director of J. C. Williamson Theatres, Ltd. Mr Harry Strachan, previously manager in charge of New South Wales, will transfer to Melbourne as general manager for J.. C. Williamson Theatres. Ltd ’s organisation throughout Australia and New Zealand, and will join the board of that company. Mr Syd Irving, the company s manager in Brisbane, will transfer to Sydney to become manager foe New South Irving in Brisbane, will be Brisbane manager.
