Press Association) TIMARU, March 28 Twenty-seven reduced handicaps in a field ot 100 was a feature oi today's qualifying round In the New Zealand women's veterans’ golf tournament at Timaru. Leading qualifier was Mrs G. Palmer (Oamaru). who played five under her handicap, to card 78. 9—69. The next qualifier, Mrs I. D. James (Timiaru). played two under tor her score of 82, 10—72.
