Japanese Cars N.Z. Assembled

AUCKLAND, March 8.

The first New Zealandassembled Japanese cars rolled off a motor assembly line at Otahuhu today. The cars were first imported fully assembled last July.

FortJ per cent, of the parts will be New Zealand-made. The cars will be produced at the initial rate of 10 a day. Tentative prices is just short of £lOOO.
