First Competitions For 1963 (From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, March 5. Competitors from Christchurch, Ashburton, South Canterbury and North Otago took part in the first of the 1963 series of national dancing competitions held in the West End Hall, Timaru. The judge was Mrs Daisy Horrell (Dunedin). Music was supplied by Pipers J. L. McKinnon and D. M. MacIntyre.
