New Fire-Fighting Techniques
(IV.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 5. The newly appointed Chief Fire Service Officer, Mr G. Drummond, plans to seek new techniques and ideas from throughoiu.t the world. Addressing the conference of the United Fire Brigades' Association at Auckland this afternoon, Mr' Drummond said: “So far, we have taken notice and modelled ourselves in line with the British Fire Service. "While I have no quarrel with this, I do feel we can also learn from other countries and It is my intention to seek new techniques and ideas on a world-wide basis.”
