Entertainment For Delegates’ Wives

A programme of entertainment has been arranged for the wives of visiting delegates to the conference of the New Zealand branch of the Royal Society of Health, which will be held in Christchurch this week. They have been Invited to attend the opening of the conference on Tuesday morning, a conducted tour of the Botanic Gardens in the afternoon, and a theatre party in the evening. A free morning on Wednesday will give visitors an opportunity to go shopping before a tour of the School of Engineering at the University of Canterbury, Ham, in the afternoon. At 8 p.m. a social evening will be held. On the last day of the conference, delegates’ wives will b» taken through a Christchurch cake factory, and in the afternoon they will be guests at the closing of conference.
