CANBERRA, February ,14 The Australian Loan Council today approved an increase of £AS million in the State’s works and housing borrowing programme This raises the programme to £A255 million The Commonwealth also made a soon-repayable Inter-est-free grant of £AS million for spending on employ-ment-giving activities during the remainder of the current financial year. The council also agreed to an increase of £Afl million In local government borrowing
