Mrs B. McLaren Hurt
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) BRISBANE, February 13. Mrs Bruce McLaren, aged 25, wife of the New Zealand motor-racing driver, was injured by a runaway speedboat on the Neraoig river, Southport, today. Southport is on the Gold Coast, Queensland's tourist resort. The propeller of the 18ft speedboat struck Mrs McLaren, who was admitted to the Southport Hospital with a compound fracture of the left ankle and a severe injury to the right ankle.
