A tender of £23,480 by Farrier-Waimak., Ltd., hss been acepted by the Christchurch Drainage Board for the first section of the Northcote collecting sewer project. Other tenders received by the board were:— Canterbury Pipelines, Ltd., £21,804; Rush Construction Company, Ltd.. £22,586; C. L. Cox, Ltd.. £40,414.
