Disarmament Advocates

(N Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Feb. 10. A Royal Air Force marshal and prominent figures in Britain’s three main political parties, the church and the trade unions are among supporters of a new organisation campaigning for disarmament, which was launched today. The organisation is called Multilateral Disarmament Information Centre and advocates all-round complete disarmament. Included on its advisory panel are Marshal of the Royal Air Force Sir John Slessor, Mr Frank Byers, former chairman of the British Liberal Party, and Mr Desmond Donnelly, a Labour member of Parliament.
