1000 Runs And 50 Wickets

Sobers today became the first cricketer In any Australian first-class season to make 1000 runs and capture 50 wickets. ' He achieved the double—in his second successive season in South Australia—by taking three wickets for #0 and scoring eight runs against Queensland today on the third day of the Sheffield Shield match on Adelaide oval.
