(N.Z. Press Amiv—CopyrigM) SINGAPORE, February 11. The Singapore “Straits Times” said today that 40 armed men had captured a village on the north-west coast of Sarawak, near Indonesian Borneo, and security force® were being rushed to the area.
An unconfirmed report from Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, said the mvasion took place at Tele* Melananu village, about IS miles from Sarawak’s northern tip. on Saturday night The British Army headquartern in Singapore was unable to confirm the report but was checking M.
