The Auckland Post Office chief radio inspector has ref red to the Post Office authorities in Wellington a radio distress call picked up by Radio Auckland on Sunday. The Auckland police launch Deodar spent a day searching for the boat which had its call sign used in the distress signal Later the boat's owner was found safe and well at his home.
