Borneo Call To Crush British
(NJk Prase AMMMna*-Caw*WM) W LONDON, January 21 1 The Brunei revolt leader, Shalt A. M. Azahari, had formally uked Indonesia to send armed volunteers “to crush tiie British Army in Northern Borneo,” the Associated Press reported from Djakarta.
Mr Achmnd Fadillah, the rebel representative to Djakarta, said it wm expected 100,000 Indonesian “volunteers" would answer the call, said the agency. Sheik Azahari’s request, which also asked for immediate recognition of the rebel government, was given to the Indonesian Foreign Office.

Iraq, North Korea and North Vietnam would also send volunteer forces to fight the British.
