Berlin Ultimatum “Nearly Dead”
(NZ. Press 'Assn.—Copyright) BERLIN, Jan. 22. The Russian ultimatum on Berlin was practically dead, the West Berlin Mayor (Mr Willy Brandt) said today. He said the crisis has changed its character. The Western Powers had succeeded in making clear to Russia their determination to stay to Berlin he told university students, the British United Press reported.
