Mr O’Neil wag flying a Ftotoher aircraft owned by Janies Aviation, Ltd, of Hamilton. He tipped a row of nine trees on top of a ridge, skidded through a tame and was thrown across a deep ranrine into a billside. The aircraft burst into flames. A police party recovered the body.
