TRAWLER HOLED

Salvage Team At Work (NZ. Press Association) AUCKLAND. January 20. A salvage team left Auckland yesterday afternoon to repair and bring back the trawler Elsie Belle, holed at Kawau Island. The Elsie Belle has s crew of two and is owned by the Ocean Fish Company, Auckland.

Salvage gear and pumps were taken to Kawau in the company's Daisy Belle. The Elsie Belle was beached on the south-western end of the island after being holed while returning to Auckland from a five-day commercial fishing trip in the outer Hauraki Gulf. She had a full cargo at flab.
