TV VAN FOR CHANNEL 3

Arrival May Be Delayed (From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON. Jan. 11. Bad weather threatens to delay the arrival at Christchurch of the new outside broadcasting television van for Channel 3. Rain has slowed unloading of the Australia Star on the Wellington waterfront N.Z.B.C. executives do not expect the van to be unloaded from the ship before 8 a.m. in the morning, allowing for reasonable weather. This will leave less than two hours to check the vehicle over before it is loaded into the Aramoana. Making allowance for some holdup, the N.Z.B.C. has also made a tentative booking on the Aramoana on Monday for the van.
