Police Seeking Accused Man (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, January IL Armed police searched a property in Rockfleld road, Ellerslie, for more than an hour today for Kenneth Bruce West, aged 22, who failed to surrender to his bail in the Magistrate’s Court ait Auckland on Monday.
i*he search was made after a 'report that there was someone in the basement of a house where West’s mother formerly lived.
This is close to a fiat where West is alleged by toe police to have presented a firearm to a young woman last month. A police dog, Greg, was sent in to ameH out para
of the property where police could not go in safety. The search was dteoontinued just before 1 pan. when no sign of West was found.
