Canterbury Welcome Assured
Canterbury visitors to England would be assured of a very warm welcome if they went to Canterbury, said the Mayor of the English city (the Rev. C. F. Pare) in a letter to the Mayor of Christchurch (Mr G. Manning). All the New Zealand visitors bad to do was advise the department of entertainment and publicity of the English city of the time of their arrival and a welcome would be arranged, the English mayor wrote.
