Many of them, including young couples with small children, were dressed in bobday-ccuiee clothes. Reporters meeting toe Dutch K.L.M. airline DCB found passengers had little to say about toe fire which struck the liner on January 4, but they said that there was no panic aboard. Tbe immigrants are causing problems for Australian employment authorities. Because their arrival three weeks earlier than planned many intended jobs are not ready for them. The Employers’ Federation, which is taking care of employment for State-sponsored immigrants today made hurried adjustments. Authorities did not know bow many would be handicapped for jobs because they bad to leave their trade equipment packed in toe Canberra’s holds. Th» is restricting moves to make jobs available.
