Truck Hit By Train
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, Jan. 9. The driver of a truck received only cuts and abrasions when his vehicle was hit by a freight train at the Matai street crossing in Marton this afternoon. The driver, Kenneth Slight, of Marton, was treated by a local doctor. The crossing has no lights or bells.
