Three Die In Plane Crash
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) BRISBANE, Dec. 16. Three men were killed on Friday night when their light aircraft crashed in heavy fog and rain near Toowoomba, 100 miles west of Brisbane, when the pilot attempted to land on a road. The plane smashed into a powerpole and broke up. throwing wreckage 300 yards. Those killed were the pilot, Rodney Francis, aged 29, Sydney Kenneth William Castles, aged 34, and James Robert Suley, aged 23, all of Toowoomba.
