PRESENTATION OF TENT
Gift To Kaiapoi Boys’ Brigade A tent and fly were presented to the Ist Kaiapoi Company of the Boys’ Brigade at its annual display and presentation of awards on Saturday evening. Mr R. Spence, representing the Kaiapoi Rotary Club chapter, made the presentation. He was also inspecting officer and guest of honour at the ceremony. Mr Spence said the Kaiapoi Rotary Club supported such organisations as the Boys’ Brigade, and intended the gift to help the youth of Kaiapoi through the organisation. It will be used for adventure training w-ith senior boys.
