Fire In Flat Wakes Men
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 16. Two men who were awakened by flames had a close escape from a blazing flat in McKinley crescent, Brooklyn, Wellington, last night. They had both been asleep in one of two flats at the rear of the house. Mr Robin Roberts suffered burns during bis escape and was admitted to hospital. His condition tonight was reported to be fair. The second man. Captain C. Keith, the owner of the house, lost all his personal possessions in the fire.
