Avon Scores Two Wins Rowing performances were varied with the best showing being given by the junior class in the inter-club fours regatta at Kerr’s Reach on Saturday. The three Christchurch clubs and the Timaru club competed in the five events, but a number of scratchings caused a curtailing of the programme. Although Avon and Timaru shared the victory with two wins each, one of Timaru’s wins was the result of a row over.
