INVITATION TO KERR

May Run In Auckland (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 12. The Jamaican runner. G. Kerr, may race in the 880 yards at Western Springs next Wednesday. His main opposition would come from New Zealand’s number two half miler, G. Philpott, if he is not required for toe New Zealand mile relay team.

The Auckland Amateur Athletic Centre is negotiating to have Kerr, his countryman, W. Clayton, and Canadian H. Van der Wai, who are at present in Auckland, compete at the meeting ing.

Kerr won the Empire Games 440 yards and was second to Snell in the half mile final.
