Five new measures were introduced in Parliament yesterday the Maori Purposes Bill, the Auckland Harbour Bridge Amendment Bill, the Crown Proceedings Amendment Bill, the Licensing Trusts Amendment Bill, and the Finance Bill. All were read a first time.
Urgency was taken on the Appropriations Bill, which was granted a second reading late yesterday afternoon. The report of the fishing industry committee was tabled. The House rose at 4.40 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
