Sabin Vaccine Campaign

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 19. After two weeks of the campaign, about threequarters of those who received their first dose of Sabin poliomyelits vaccine have taken their second dose. Figures received by the Health Department show that up to the end of last week 805,779 adults have been immunised in the second round. This figure will be increased by several thousand when returns come to hand from the Whangarei and Rotorua health districts.

In the first round 1.166.292 adults throughout New Zealand were immunised. The present campaign will end on November 30.
