Railwaymen’s Allowances Up
(N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 20. Increases in three of the allowances paid to railwaymen were announced by the Government Railways Industrial Tribunal today. Vehicle trip allowances have been extended night allowances have been increased from 8s 3d to 9s, and the allowance paid to signalmen when in charge of the “A” signal box ait Wellington is to be raised from 7id to Bjd an hour.
