Parliament’s Diary
Three bills were introduced and read a first time in Parliament yesterday. They were: the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Bill, the Emergency Regulations Amendment Bill, and the Local Legislation Bill. The House referred the Fuel and Power Bill to the Public Expenditure Committee and the Electricity Advisory Council Bill to the Statutes Committee. The Noxious Animals Amendment Bill, the Evidence Amendment Bill, the Innkeepers Bill, and the Juries Amendment Bill were committed. The House was discussing the Industrial Conciliation Amendment Bill when the adjournment debate was taken.
