A city commercial site at 14 Balfour terrace was sold for £1435 at public auction yesterday. The property was offered on account of the estate of John Meadows. The auctioneer was Mr C Robertson. Bidding started at £BOO There were 25 bids of £25. and one bid of £ 10. There is a small fourroomed cottage on the 225 perches section, which is zoned Industrial B. The section, which has a frontage of 44 feet, covers 6126 square feet
A large house at 29 Dallington terrace, Dallington, was passed in. The auctioneer was Mr R R. Livingston The house, which is on a high section of more than a quarter of an acre, contains four bedrooms, three sunrooms, two lounges, two kitchens, and two bathrooms.
