MISSIONARIES TO RETURN

Furlough Visits To City Planned

Three former Christchurch people who have been working for the Anglican Mission in Tanganyika are returning to the city on furlough in December. They are Mrs M. S. Clark and her son, the Rev. G. H. Clark and his wife.

Mr Clark and his wife were stationed at the Alliance school in Dodoma from 1958 when they went to Tanganyika, until 1961. This year Mr Clark has been headmaster of the Livingstone College, at Kigoma, which was opened at the beginning of the year. Mrs Clark went to Tanganyika in 1959 to take charge of the book room at Dodoma She is now diocesan accountant.

On their way to New Zealand they will be in Sydney lor the ordination of Mr C. Clark, younger son of Mrs Clark, who has been attending the Moore Theological College in Sydney. Service In Malaya

An Anglican mission worker in Malaya, the Rev. L E. Psankuch, will also return to Christchurch on furlough in December. He was ordained in Christchurch and was curate of the All Saints' Church at Sumner before taking up missionary work in 1952.

Mr Psankuch was a scripture union worker in Southeast Asia from 1952 to 1956. During this tame he was also a member of the staff of St. Andrew’s Cathedral in Singapore. Since 1952, Mr Psankuch has been working with the Church Missionary Society at Butterworth in North Malaya.
