Long Separation

A brother and sister met for the first time in 51 years when the Oriana berthed in Auckland on Saturday morning. They were Mr N. McCamish, from Perth, Western Australia, and Mrs M. Webb, of Rotorua. Among other relatives there to greet Mr McCamish was Mrs I. Swanberg, of Opua, who last saw her brother 14 years ago. The McCamish family of 12 were born and reared in a Victorian country town. Seven of the nine still live in Australia. Mrs Swanberg came to New Zealand 53 years ago and Mrs Webb 47 years ago. —(P.A.)
