HOUSE LOST IN FIRE

Police Seeking Owners (N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON N„ Nov. 5. The occupiers of a house at Bainesse, near Palmerston North, which was destroyed by fire at the week-end may not be aware of their loss because the police have been unable to trace them. The occupiers, Mr and Mrs William Catlin, were in Wellington for some days before the fire, but their whereabouts are now unknown to the police. Of the four-room wooden house only the chimney and the foundations were left standing No-one saw the fire as the house is in an isolated area and is not visible to neighbours.
