Japanese Race In Rough Sea

The Japanese Maritime Safety Board said today the bodies of two Japanese amateur yachtsmen had been recovered and nine other yachtsmen were missing following an ocean yacht race held over the week-end in rain and rough seas in the Sagami Bay, south-west of Tokyo. One of the bodies was identified as a student of Waseda University. He was one of the six crew members of the Hayabus, yacht raced by Waseda University. The remaining five crew members and their yacht were missing. The board said a Keio University student had been lost overboard and the four crew members of the Miya raced by Keio University were also missing.
