Santa Claus Put In Place (NX. Prttt Auociation) AUCKLAND, November 4. Claimed to be the largest Father Christmas in the world, a6B foot three-ton fibre-glass repreaentation of St. Nicholas, waa hoisted aloft and attached to the outside of a large Auckland department store today. The operation of placing him in his commanding position took the combined efforts of 100 men and two cranes. His mechanical arm will beckon passers-by 26 times every minute. He is surrounded by five reindeer.
