MAJOR OVERHAUL OF FRIENDSHIP
N.A.C. Officers Go To Perth
The National Airways Corporation's chief inspector (Mr R. McDonald) and its planning officer (Mr N. Kitto) left Christchurch on Monday for Perth to watch the first major overhaul of a Fokker Friendship that has completed 10.000 flying hours. The Friendship belongs to the fleet of MacßobertsonMiller Aviation, Ltd., and is the first in the world to reach the IO.OOOhr total. Other aviation companies and interests are also sending observers. These include Pakistan International Airways. Ansett-A.N.A., the Australian Civil Aviation Administration, and the Aircraft Research Laboratory of Australia.
