Famous Oregon Relay Team (N.ZJ>^.-RetatT—Copyright) EUGEN® (Oiegoek Sept 30 The World record Ardding four-mile relay team of Oregon has been invited to compete in the New Zealand

track and- field championships during the Christmas holidays.

The Oregon team consists of D. Burleson, K. .Forman, V. Reeve, and A San Romani, jun., United Press International reported. The president of the university (Dr. Arthur S. Hemming) said the invitation was sent by New Zealand track and field officiate to United States athletic authorities. They notified the State Department, which in turn sent informal notice of the bid to Dr. Flemming. “It is our understanding New Zealand officials have strongly urged that our runners accept this invitation.” Dr. Flemming said. “As scon as we have received official notification we will be happy to do so.”

The Oregon team set a world record of Ifimin B.9sec early this year.
