LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS
Special Voting From Monday
Special votes for the local body elections on October 13 will be taken at the Christchurch City Council chambers from next Monday. Special voting facilities are provided for electors who will be absent from the city on polling day or who will be unable to go to a booth on the day. Provision is also made for special votes by those who are invalids and infirm women approaching maternity and those who object to voting on a Saturday because of religious beliefs.
