Council Approves Programme “Intermediate capital expenditure” proposed by the Canterbury University Council includes:— £1535 to equip aquaria and provide a seawater circulation system at the Edward Percival Marine Laboratory at Kaikoura.
£5105 for improvements at the School of Engineering. £2OOO for a combined laboratory and electrical substation building near the sports fields at Ham. £4325 for levelling the proposed athletic field area so that a start can be made on laying a running track. £4BOO for the conversion of buildings on or near the central site to provide more accommodation.
