Petrol Tax Down £500,000

WELLINGTON, Sept. 19 The National Roads Board's net receipts from petrol tax fell nearly £500,000 in the four months up to August 31 this year, compared with the same period last year. The statement of receipts tabled at today’s meeting showed the amount as £6.363.76f. as against £6,811,701 last year.
