Discrimination In Sport
(N Z P A .-Reuter— Copyright) BELGRADE, Sept. It. The International Amateur Athletics Federation yesterday "severely reprimanded” Indonesia for discrimination in sport. The action was taken following the exclusion of Formosa and Israel from the recent Asian Games in Djakarta. Earlier the LA.AF. council had proposed that the Indonesian Amateur Athletics Association be suspended for six months. The congress took no action against countries which participated in the field and track events at Djakarta.
