Man Killed On Bridge
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 28. One man was killed and another seriously injured when a light truck struck a concrete bridge on the main highway two miles north of Warkworth at 6 30 p.m. today The dead man. a passenger in the vehicle, was Edgar Charles Jaques, aged 59. married, with two children, of Centreway road. Orewa. The driver. James Wells, aged 47. married, of Topuni, near Wellsford. was taken to the Auckland Hospital where early this morning he was said to be dahgerously ill.
