Sir,—lf Mr Walker had stopped to think twice, before rushing the watersiders into a strike over the unloading of bananas, he would surely have gone about it the other way round, viz: let the unloading be done, then put in the boot. “Don't come back with the same cargo, for we won’t unload it a second time, that’s flat!” Mr Walsh would have the ball at his foot same result as he is asking for, no fuss, no loss of wages: and he could have taken credit for a real smart move. But no, he must jet
