Chess Schoolboys’ Title

Evans (Te Awamutui. holder of the national schoolboys’ chess title and M Robb (Dunedin) share the lead after three rounds of the 1962 championship being played at Victoria University of Wellington They have won all the three games played so far ano are a point and a half ahead of D H Simpson (Wellington) and A Wilkinson (Christchurch) The eight competitors are the winners and runners-up of four regional championships p’ayed earlier and the title will be decided in a seven-round event Results so far:— First Round.—C.
