Phoenix. Shareholders of Phoenix Holdings. Ltd., Wellington. yesterday approved proposals to repay 15s of the company's capital of £1 a share from funds to be raised by the sale ol certain assets. Application will now be made for the Supreme Court's approval. After the capital repayment the shares will be quoted as ss. fully paid. Paid capital will be £19.361. Disclosed reserves will be about £27.000—(PA.)

Offer Accepted.—Shareholders of Matamata Hotel. Ltd., have accepted a take-over offer from Consolidated Hotels. Ltd. The take-over which is for all shares, will be completed on August 31.
