ACCEPTORS FOR LANE’S

‘Sufficient For Control’ Sufficient of the Tudor Hosiery shareholders have accepted the Lane’s Hosiery offer to ensure Lane’s Hosiery control of the company. This was announced in Christchurch last’night by the chairman of Lane's Hosiery, Ltd. (Mr H. J. I<ane>. Mr Lane said his board would consider whether to accept a smaller percentage than 90. as it was already obvious that his company had sufficient acceptances to assume control. It was only fair to make this statement at this stage, as Lane. Walker, Rudkin might not be prepared to accept a minority shareholding in Tudor Hosiery, Mr Lane said.
