Topdressing Crash

(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI. August 28. A top dressing plane crashed on Mr D P Casey’s property at Taoroa, near Taihape. at 12 30 p.m. today. The pilot. Mr E. Ambrose, of Taihape. escaped injury. The plane, which had been Top dressing on Mr Paul Duncan's property, had engine trouble. The pilot dumped his load and showed considerable skill in dodging trees and a gorge, but was unable to avoid a fence as he was landing The plane’s fuselage and one wing were damaged.
