Controversial Provision Reintroduced In \ Bill . • (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 28. A bill to amend the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, introduced in the House of Representatives today, provides for the making of composite awards. The Minister of Labour (Mr Shand) introduced the bill, which was read a first time and referred to the Labour Bills Committee. Mr Shand said that one clause in the 12-clause bill provided machinery for the amalgamation of unions. Another clause provided for composite awards in certain industries.
